Shipping Policy
Real delivery windows, what shipping costs, what happens when a parcel is late, and your right to cancel if we cannot ship on time.

1. How orders reach you
We are the seller of record. Goods are picked and packed by a distribution partner and dispatched to you by an international carrier. This is the same fulfilment model most cross-border retail uses, and it is what allows the range and the pricing on this site.
It also means delivery is not same-week in the way a domestic warehouse would be. We publish real bands rather than an optimistic one, so you can decide before you pay whether that works for you.
2. Your rights when we cannot ship on time
If you think an order has passed its expected ship date and you have not heard from us, write to support@akindo.world with your order number. We will tell you the status the same business day.
3. What shipping costs
- Standard shipping is $4.95 per order, and free on orders of $59.00 or more.
- Expedited shipping is $12.95 where it is offered for your address. Not every destination supports it.
- Remote and extended areas may carry a surcharge. If that applies to your address, it is shown at checkout before you pay and it is never added afterwards.
Shipping charges are shown in the cart and again at checkout before payment is taken. The total you confirm at checkout is the total you pay.
4. Import duties and customs
Depending on your country and the value of the order, local customs may charge import duty, VAT, or a handling fee. Those charges are set and collected by your government and the carrier, not by us, and they are your responsibility.
Where we are required to collect and remit tax at checkout for your jurisdiction, we do so and it is included in the total you pay. Where duty is assessed at the border instead, the carrier will contact you before delivery. Refusing to pay a customs charge does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund of the goods, because the cost of returning the parcel may exceed the item value. Contact us and we will work out what is reasonable in your case.
5. Tracking and delivery
- You receive a dispatch email with a tracking number once the carrier scans the parcel.
- Tracking can take 24 to 48 hours to show its first scan after dispatch.
- Some low-value parcels travel without end-to-end tracking. Where that is the case, we say so in the dispatch email.
- Someone must be available to receive the parcel where a signature is required.
6. When something goes wrong
- Parcel is late. Check the tracking first. If it has not moved for 7 days, contact us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier and tell you where things stand.
- Parcel is lost. Where the carrier confirms loss, we replace the item or refund it in full. That is our risk, not yours.
- Parcel arrives damaged. Tell us within 7 days with photos of the packaging and the item. We replace or refund, your choice.
- Wrong item or missing part. Tell us within 7 days. We send the correct item or the missing part at our cost.
- Parcel marked delivered but not received. Check with neighbours and the building first, then contact us within 5 days. We raise a carrier investigation and we keep you updated. Our decision on replacement or refund is made once the investigation concludes.
7. Address accuracy
Check the shipping address carefully at checkout. It is the address the carrier will attempt. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, we will contact you about reshipping. Where the error was ours, we reship at our cost. Where it was not, reshipping costs the standard shipping rate.
We cannot deliver to PO boxes for every item. Where an item cannot go to a PO box, that is stated on the product page.
