Terms of Service
The agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] when you browse this site, place an order, or contact us. Read it before you buy.
Effective 2026-10-09 · [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]
1. Who we are
This site is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a [STATE] limited liability company with a registered address at [STREET ADDRESS], [CITY], [STATE] [ZIP], United States.
When you buy from this store, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is the seller of record. That means we are the party contracting with you, the party responsible for the order, and the party you contact if something goes wrong. Products are sourced from third-party manufacturers and fulfilment partners, but that sourcing arrangement does not change who you are buying from.
In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By using the site you confirm you meet that requirement and that you have legal capacity to enter a contract.
You do not need an account to browse or to buy. If we later offer accounts, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for anything that happens under your account until you tell us it is compromised.
3. Products, descriptions, and pricing
We describe products as accurately as we can. Colours, dimensions, and finishes can vary slightly from what your screen shows and from batch to batch. Measurements are provided by the manufacturer and are approximate.
Prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, including obvious errors where an item is listed far below its real price. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before charging you and you may cancel at no cost.
4. Orders and when a contract forms
When you place an order you are offering to buy. We accept that offer when we confirm the order has been accepted for fulfilment, not when you submit payment. Until then we may decline an order, in whole or in part, and we will refund anything already taken.
Common reasons an order is declined or cancelled:
- The item is out of stock or discontinued.
- Payment authorisation fails or is flagged as fraudulent.
- We cannot ship to the address you gave.
- The listing contained a pricing or description error.
- There is evidence of resale, arbitrage, or abuse of a promotion.
If we cancel after payment, the full amount is returned to the original payment method. Refund timing depends on your bank and normally takes 5 business days on our side.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at the point of order through our payment processor. We do not store your full card details. The processor is responsible for handling card data and for its own PCI compliance.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you give and that the billing information is correct. Orders may be held or cancelled where billing information cannot be verified.
Applicable sales tax is added at checkout where we are required to collect it. Tax is calculated from the shipping address. If you are buying for resale, contact legal@akindo.world before ordering.
6. Shipping and delivery
This is the most important section for this store, because of how the goods reach you. Please read it in full.
Your legal rights in relation to shipping timing are set out in the Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In summary, if we cannot ship within the time we told you, you have the right to cancel for a full refund. Nothing in these Terms limits that right.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you gave. Title passes on full payment. We will replace or refund goods lost in transit where the carrier confirms loss.
7. Returns and refunds
You may return most unused items within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. The Refund Policy sets out what qualifies, what does not, and who pays return shipping. That policy is incorporated into these Terms.
Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons once opened. Those items are marked on the product page before you buy. Your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods are not affected by any of this and are in addition to the return window above.
8. Health, safety, and product claims
Some products in this catalog are general wellness items. They are not medical devices. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing said here is medical advice.
Read the Product Disclaimer before ordering any wellness item. It sets out the limits of what we say about these products and what you should do before using them.
We comply with applicable consumer product safety requirements in our capacity as seller of record, including reporting obligations for defective or hazardous products. If you believe a product is unsafe, stop using it and contact support@akindo.world immediately.
9. Intellectual property
The site, including its text, layout, logos, graphics, and original photography, belongs to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or to our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from the site for commercial purposes without written permission.
Product names and marks belonging to manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our systems, or another person's account.
- Interfere with the operation of the site, including by introducing malicious code or scraping at a volume that affects availability.
- Use product images, descriptions, or content for resale, comparison shopping engines, or competitor research without permission.
- Place fraudulent orders, abuse promotions, or use stolen payment methods.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.
We may suspend or refuse service where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
11. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Products are covered by the manufacturer warranty where one applies and by our own 90 day warranty against manufacturing defects. That warranty covers the product as supplied. It does not cover misuse, normal wear, damage in transit after delivery, or anything set out in the Refund Policy as excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and its officers, employees, and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or any product.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of an order is capped at the greater of the total amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim or one hundred US dollars. This cap reflects market standard for consumer retail and is the position we will hold unless a higher figure is required by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and its officers, employees, and suppliers against any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
This indemnity is mutual in spirit and capped in practice by the same aggregate limit in section 12. We will not seek to recover from you beyond what is proportionate to your conduct.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Courts in [COUNTY], [STATE] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not subject to arbitration.
Before filing a claim, please write to legal@akindo.world and give us 30 days to resolve it informally. Most problems are solved faster that way.
Either party may bring a claim in small claims court where the amount qualifies. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Changes apply to orders placed after the new effective date. Where a change materially affects an order you have already placed, we will tell you and you may cancel that order for a full refund.
16. General
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- These Terms, together with the policies linked from them, are the entire agreement between you and us for each order.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
17. Contact
